PRO ACTION KTM SUPPORTS LOCAL MOTOCROSS
Pro Action, South Africa’s no:1 KTM Motorcycle dealer, has launched a motocross team and support programme initiative, aimed at assisting mainly regional riders on KTM machines in local motocross competitions. The Pro Action KTM Motocross team consists of three riders and support staff who will be competing in all rounds of the Northern Regions Regional and South African National Motocross championships for 2010. The team was hand picked to include one experienced multiple South African national Motocross champion with two young up-and-coming riders thereby helping develop them further as motocross competitors.
The Pro Action KTM Motocross team will be on hand at all junior and senior regional and national motocross events providing support to KTM riders in the form of mechanical assistance, provision of spares and accessories and general moral support to anyone in the KTM fold. Furthermore the Pro Action KTM Motocross team will be hosting track days at various motocross tracks in and around Gauteng through the year, where riders and the public can get a close look at the KTM range of motocross and off-road machines.
Terry Boustead, the team principal and owner of Pro Action, explained that the idea was borne out of a need to help and assist the riders at grass roots level who are out there week-in and week-out, giving of their best in trying to grow their riding expertise and thereby compete at higher levels of competition. In this way Pro Action KTM is recognising these riders and showing their commitment to the rider with the support programme, and the growth of the sport of motocross as a whole.
